Training Opportunities

The Repatriation Technical Assistance Center provides training to state and territory Routine and Emergency Repatriation Coordinators and other state and territory human services departments and personnel who support U.S. Repatriation cases referred by OHSEPR.

This training is free, person-centered, trauma-informed, relevant, and specific to the roles that state and territorial human services partners play in supporting U.S. citizens and their dependents when requested by OHSEPR.    

 
Upcoming trainings and events are listed on the events calendar page and preregistration is required. These sessions provide an opportunity for routine and emergency repatriation coordinators and other state and territorial human services departments to engage the presenter and to have questions answered by posting them during the session. The trainings are recorded for future viewing by state personnel who cannot attend the facilitated session when scheduled.

Two types of training opportunities

    On-Demand Trainings

    On-demand trainings are available in the Learning Center.

    • These trainings allow for learning through self-paced, on-demand learning.
    • These can be watched whenever it is convenient.

    Live Facilitated Trainings

    Upcoming facilitated live trainings and events are listed on the Events page.

    • These trainings allow attendees to engage the presenter and have their questions answered during the session.
    • Preregistration is required for these events.
    • These trainings are recorded for those who cannot attend the live session and are available for later viewing in the Learning Center.

  • Login to the Learning Center or Register for access to free, person-centered, trauma-informed, relevant and specific training to the roles that state and territorial human services partners play in supporting U.S. citizens and their dependents when requested by OHSEPR.  The Learning Center provides both "private" training and resources (requiring login) and "public" materials.  Each logged in user can track their training and earn completion certificates in the Learning Center.
  • Trainings may be conducted in person or remotely (e.g., webinar), and are available on-demand through this website.  Browse or search Trainings and Events , or view a Course Catalog
  • Support: Email Repatriation@acf.hhs.gov with your Training and Technical Assistance Request , or to preregister or request training and technical assistance for planning, training topics, and exercises. Preregistration is required for live or upcoming webinar training.  Go to the Events page to view upcoming training. 
  • Survey: Following training, please submit your completed Post-Training Survey Form to: repatriation@acf.hhs.gov.
