Repatriation Loan Process

Once eligibility is determined, the Office of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSEPR) will coordinate with its grantee, ISS-USA and the state where final destination is determined for temporary assistance needs. The Program can provide temporary assistance for up to 90 days upon arrival to the U.S.

Temporary assistance is provided in the form of a service loan which is payable to the U.S. government. Form RR-05 Repatriation Repayment and Privacy Agreement for individual repatriation must be completed to receive temporary assistance. If repatriation is due to an evacuation, Form RR-01 Emergency Repatriation Eligibility Application is used with the repatriate.

You can see more information about the loan process on the OHSEPR website.
